Why a routine matters

Fall checklist
Before the wet season, clear gutters and confirm downspouts drain a safe distance from the foundation. Trim overhanging branches and inspect for moss or algae. Now is also a good time to verify attic ventilation is not blocked, so trapped moisture cannot build up over winter.
